About Talk Childcare Extended Learning Center
We are a play-based Reggio Emilia and Funshine-based learning facility, providing care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. The goal of our center is to provide a safe and comfortable space for your child and a community that helps and supports each other each and every day.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning through play, creativity, and independence. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we have created a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
Who We Are
Talk Childcare Extended Learning Center was founded in Louisville by owners Asia and William Rivers. We decided to do things a bit differently by creating a space that fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment so children from 6 weeks to 12 years can explore the world around them and thrive!
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life since we encourage both exploration and discovery, as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships. We believe that every child has the capacity to learn in their own way. When they’re given the appropriate support, they will be empowered to develop their unique way of communicating and learning.

Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to cater to children aged 5 - 12 years old. With a focus on fostering creativity, curiosity and imagination, our center offers a wide range of facilities to ensure a well-rounded and enriching experience for every child.
Our Spacious Classrooms are designed to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for our young learners. Equipped with age-appropriate resources, our classrooms encourage children to develop their curiosity and imagination.
Our Outdoor Play Area is designed with age-appropriate equipment that encourages children to explore the world around them and develop key motor, coordination and teamwork skills.
About Our Team
Our caring staff helps to provide a nurturing environment for the children, supporting them in their learning. Each member of staff possesses at least a CDA (Child Director Associate Certificate). They make continuous strides in helping children to grow and give them a life-long love of learning by providing quality education, nutritional meals, and support for both children and their families.
We also ensure that every member of staff is trained to do First Aid and CPR. Talk Childcare Extended Learning Center supports our staff by providing them with the opportunity for ongoing training, with a minimum of 15 hours of annual training for each member of staff.
